Anxious? Worried? Scared? Listen to This Catchy Kids' Song ...

Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Last week at our church's Summer Spectacular (Vacation Bible School) we sang a some with the kids that we would all do well to learn. It's the above verse put to music. As our team heads to Peru today, I know some of our students and probably all of their parents are anxious. It's scary when we say "Yes" to God and do something big like go on a missions trip. It's even scarier when our kids respond to God's call and we are put in the position of entrusting them to His oversight. BUT, we serve an awesome God who calls us to do hard things and to trust Him. Listen to this song and allow it to ring in your head today.
