Tale of Despereaux

This evening we watched The Tale of Despereaux as a family. We really enjoyed it! The movie had some great themes such as risk, courage, honor, redemption, and forgiveness. Some great clips that could be used in messages on these topics if you find yourself in a teaching capacity. 

Quote on Endurance

During the evening news tonight they announced that actor David Carradine had died. They showed a clip of him doing an interview years back in which he made a statement that I thought was good: 

"There are no failures in Hollywood, only people who give up too soon." 

Take out "in Hollywood" and you have yourself a great line on endurance.
